Tiffany Haddish made history hosting Saturday Night Live by becoming the first African-American female comedian to do so.  That’s a huge deal since SNL has existed for over 40 seasons!  Coming off her epic role as Dina in Girls Trip, the film broke records of its own by grossing over $130 million worldwide.

She brought old and new viewers to SNL with her genuine, around the way girl, bubbly personality.  In the opening monologue she talked about her humble beginnings growing up in foster care and group homes, spoke on politics, and talked about the recent Hollywood sex scandals in a comedic fashion.  She played several characters throughout the evening and it was a joy to see her as: Boo Boo Jeffries, Cardi B, Mary J. Blige, The Last Black Unicorn, a variety of others, and of course as herself!

Tiffany Haddish is not a new artist as her entertainment resume dates back to well over a decade.  She’s had roles on That’s So Raven, Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes?, Chelsea Lately, Real Husbands of Hollywood, and The Carmichael Show.  She has had multiple films to add to her credits including Keanu and Girls Trip…. she’s even been in a Jay-Z music video!  2017 has undoubtedly been an amazing year for Tiffany with her summer box office smash, Showtime Comedy Special and upcoming movie with America’s favorite comedian/actor/author Kevin Hart.  Tiffany went from hood to Hollywood and She Ready!
