Season four of the Rémy Martin Producers Series is underway and made its stop for the preliminaries in Washington D.C. last night.  The competition showcases the musical creativity of amateur and semi-professional producers across the country.  The contestants receive insight and knowledge from some of the hottest artists and producers in the music industry, and are judged in competitive rounds against their peers.  Producers, artists and songwriters such as:  Just Blaze, DJ Drama, Zaytoven, Wyclef and many more are featured in the competition.

Last night was hosted by Jay Claxton, with some of the industry’s top influencers as the judges.  Danni Star and DJ QuickSilva from The Fam in the Morning on 93.9 WKYS, Theo Brown, Rebe Espinosa from Universal Music Group, and special guest legendary producer/DJ/artist Pete Rock decided the fate of the three contestants in the two-round show down at Soundcheck nightclub.  The three contestants DJ Young Pro, Makavelee, and Taco (Limitless Productions) competed in two rounds in which they were scored on a scale of 1-50 and the highest score at the end of both rounds declared the overall winner.  The series began in Chicago August 17, 2017 with the next stop in the preliminaries in Boston September 12, 2017.  Make sure you check out for more information about the competition and your chance to enter the VIP Access Sweepstakes for your chance to attend the finale.  Congratulations to Taco for the win in the D.C. preliminaries!
