Well after Kyrie Irving, formerly of the Cleveland Cavaliers, announced he no longer wanted to play alongside future hall of famer LeBron James his wishes have been granted. He has been traded to the Boston Celtics for all-star 5’8 point guard Isaiah Thomas, small forward Jae Crowder, center Ante Zizic and the Brooklyn Nets 2018 unprotected first round pick thanks to the Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce trade a few years back (shaking my head). It’s worth noting that these two teams faced off in last year’s eastern conference finals in which Cleveland would win the best of seven series 4-1 and the two eastern conference teams will square off opening day of the season October 17th in Cleveland. Isaiah Thomas is currently recovering from hip surgery and may not be available for that game. Who do you think received the better part of this trade?
