At least 50 people are dead and over 400 are injured after a gunman opened fire at a country music festival Sunday night in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Sixty-four-year-old Stephen Paddock died on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino by self-inflicted gunshot wound.  Multiple news outlets are reporting that SWAT breached the door of the hotel room via explosive device.  A motive for the shooting has not been declared, although Eric Paddock brother of the shooter said, “he has no political affiliation, no religious affiliation, as far as we know…. he was just a guy.  Something happened, he snapped or something, he was just a guy.”  A person of interest was sought and dismissed when authorities located and questioned Marilou Danley, the suspect’s girlfriend.  This story continues to develop and the body count of injured and deceased victims increases.  Residents of Nevada have taken to social media to mark themselves as safe, but much chaos ensues at the scene.  To locate missing persons or to alert authorities contact (865)535-5654 Las Vegas Metro Police Department.  The president will make a televised statement shortly.
